Hi! I'm Anna, a therapist intern who works with children, teens, adults, and families. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University.

I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel accepted as they are and supported in showing up as their most authentic selves. I believe healing happens through genuine relationships built on safety, trust, and connection. My goal is to create an environment where children, teens, adults, and families feel seen, understood, and empowered as they navigate life's challenges.

As a military spouse, a multiracial woman, and someone with lived experience of neurodivergence, OCD, and adoption-related experiences, I bring cultural humility, compassion, and empathy into the work I do. These experiences have shaped my understanding of what it means to navigate systems that are not always built with every person's needs in mind, and they continue to inform my commitment to creating affirming and inclusive spaces for clients and families.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll usually find me enjoying sunset drives, playing musical instruments, video gaming, spending time with my son, and almost always with an iced coffee in hand. 

Throughout my clinical and professional experiences, I have discovered a passion for supporting children, adolescents, families, and neurodivergent individuals through a lens of curiosity, compassion, and connection.

My work is rooted in the belief that behavior often communicates deeper emotions, needs, and experiences. By integrating attachment theory, neuroscience, and nervous system-informed care, I help clients better understand themselves while building skills for connection, emotional regulation, and resilience.

I am especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and adolescents, individuals who have experienced trauma, adoption-related experiences, OCD, and family challenges. I have experience facilitating neurodivergent groups and working alongside caregivers, recognizing that supporting a child often means supporting the entire family system.

I am currently pursuing AutPlay® certification and hope to become a Registered Play Therapist in the future as I continue deepening my expertise in neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care.
