Hi, I’m Brynn! I’m a counselor-in-training with a strong passion for working with children and adolescents. I strive to create a safe space where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring their emotions at their own pace. I believe healing often happens through genuine connection. I have a strong interest in play therapy and creative approaches to counseling. I am drawn to helping children and adolescents communicate feelings in ways that feel natural to them.

Whether through art, play, or conversation, I value meeting young clients where they are and honoring their unique ways of experiencing the world.

My interest in counseling is also shaped by my own life experiences. Growing up in a family system impacted by addiction and undiagnosed mental health concerns influenced my understanding of how early experiences affect emotional wellbeing, self-worth, and relationships.

As an adult, navigating my own ADHD diagnosis has deepened my appreciation for neurodiversity; the creativity, challenges, and strengths that come with it. These experiences guide my trauma-informed approach and my belief that growth doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.

My professional experience includes working with children and families in behavioral health settings, supporting a range of emotional and behavioral needs. This work has strengthened my ability to provide developmentally appropriate support while collaborating with caregivers.

Outside of counseling and school, I enjoy being creative, painting is one of my favorite ways to recharge. I also love spending time with my dog, Ryder, who reminds me daily of the importance of presence, play, and unconditional connection.

I am currently working on my internship towards a in Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arizona.

I have experience working in behavioral health with toddlers all the way up to adults providing parenting support classes, groups to support children’s mental health, and working in residential treatment centers.
